Pirates Invade San Diego Embarcadero 

Maritime Museum of San Diego to host Pirate Days May 20 & 21 

 

San Diego, CA (April 25, 2017) – Maritime Museum of San Diego will host a two-day Pirate Days celebration Saturday and Sunday, May 20 & 21 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00p.m. for children and adults. The event includes kids costume contests, cannon firings, weapon demonstrations, sword fights, live parrots, mermaid grotto, live music, and scavenger hunt for pirate treasures. Tickets are $17 for adults and $9 for children age 3-12; kids 2 and under are free. Pirate Days tickets include general admission to the Maritime Museum of San Diego and all pirate activities. Pirate Days participants of all ages who wear pirate or mermaid costumes will receive a $2 discount on admission. Adults carrying replica weapons must have them peace tied.  

Pirate Days is just a few days before the new Disney’s PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN:DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES movie opens in theaters May 26. Guests can enter to win a Family Four-Pack of ticketsto the advance screening at the Pirate Days event.
