Ranger 37 Race Yacht (Up to 6 Guests)

This IOR Raceboat is a classic restored 1973 Ranger 37 named Masquerade and intended for the sports enthusiast. This 37′ yacht was known as “The Rocket” back in her day due to her lightening speed and innovative hull design.

Much heavier than traditional boats today, Masquerade will provide a steady, smooth sail no matter what the conditions. The mythical Ranger 37 had a colorful racing history back in the 1970′s and continues to win off shore races to this day.

Accommodations
Step below and find two very large quarter berths. The galley is to port with large seating area around functional center island which doubles as a dinette and wet bar.

There is a spacious head (toilet) which features fresh running water and an electric toilet.

For your convenience, we have a Sony stereo that connects to any iPod or smart phone. We have a wide selection of music or your can bring your own.

Going forward, we have a large V-berth set up for racing and a large assortment of sails. A great boat, race or cruise. We also have a 32″ LED flatscreen wall mounted television and several movies onboard. Our galley features a new 3-burner propane stove and paper plates and cups are provided. No Children Under 7 Years of Age

32' Catamaran for Larger Parties (4-12 Guests)

We have also added a fantastic new 32′ sailing catamaran for your harbor excursions should you feel the need to bring more friends and have a stable, fun, and exciting party.

This catamaran is roomy, stable, and can fit up to 12 guests for a remarkable cruise around the bay or beyond. This catamaran can be used for private parties, surfing trips, private birthday parties, Bachelorette parties, burials at sea or just a meandering cruise around the bay.

We take the time to insure your cruise is the best in town. Built on twin deep-V hulls with a solid round cresent shaped party seat, fiberglass bottom, two-stateroom interior, and a bar area for guests, this catamaran offers comfortable accommodations for two to ten persons.

What is a Catamaran?

A traditional sailboat is a monohull–in other words, it has only one hull centered around a heavy keel. A catamaran is balanced on two hulls, with the sails in the middle. It’s as simple as that.

Depending on the size of the boat, the space separating the two hulls might be filled by a cockpit, a main cabin, and usually some netting (which can be a great place for relaxing in the sun).

Why are Catamarans Popular?

Size and stability are the main factors. With two hulls and the space in between, there tends to be more room on a catamaran, both above and below decks. Vacationers chartering a boat love "Cats" for this reason.

There’s space for a lot of people and a lot of stuff. Additionally, the stability offered by having two hulls means that the boat doesn’t heel over like a monohull–it stays pretty much level. This means the sailing experience is less tiring, as you aren’t battling gravity.

Catamarans don’t need as much water underneath them, so you can sail in shallower places than a monohull, and in your anchorage at night, you won’t roll around. There’s also a bit more privacy for those onboard, as the two hulls are completely separate from one another. Lastly, they tend to be faster!

The roomy galley includes two pedestal island tables as well as a TV/VCR and a privacy door, and a circular seating area bin the back of the boat for parties, diving, and showering off after playing in the water. Two pocket doors close off the starboard sitting room, converting them into two private staterooms with a large comfortable bed and plenty of room for two persons each.

34' Catalina Luxury Sailing Yacht (2-6 Guests)

When it comes to comfortable, family oriented sailboats no builder in the world matches a Catalina. Since production of the first Catalina 22 in 1970, the company has more than 68,000 boats to its credit.

Catalina’s designs target the family cruiser, and when there’s an opening in this market they can be certain to provide a product to fit the need.

Accommodations have always been a strong selling point for all Catalina models, and the 34 is no different. Most Catalina 34 owners have something good to say about the roominess of the interior.

The layout features a V-berth cabin forward followed by the main saloon with starboard side dinette and port side settee. The galley is aft along the starboard side, and there is a good sized head along the port side next to the companionway.

The master cabin is aft along the starboard side and features an athwartship double berth tucked below the cockpit. On the negative side, the galley has very little working counter space and there is no decent sea berth.

Built on a deep-V hull with a solid fiberglass bottom, the two-stateroom interior of the 400 Express offers comfortable accommodations for six.

The master stateroom includes a pedestal island berth as well as a TV/VCR and a privacy door, and a circular pocket door closes off the starboard sitting room, converting it into a private stateroom with a full-size bed and convertible upper bunk.

Designed by renowned catamaran designer Kurt Hughes, this Catamaran is 58’ long with a 32’ beam. Sails are approx. 1500 sq. ft. without spinnaker.

She is US Coast Guard licensed for 48 people, plus crew. We are certified to sail in the open ocean, most charter boats have to stay within the San Diego Bay.

With such a unique view of the city, there should be no rush when taking it all in. Make your San Diego day cruise as peaceful as the water, and relax onboard this spacious Catamaran.

Most San Diego day cruises have a four hour time limit, but not with us. Because we are privately chartered, we will sail as long as you’d like, wherever you’d like. We will make sure you don’t miss any of the sights in San Diego Bay by letting you choose your own hours as we are private charter only.

We will only have 7 or crew members, so your help is greatly appreciated.

It takes 6 able bodies grinding the winches to raise the mainsail plus a few more to trim the sails each time we tack or gybe.

Everyone also gets a turn at the helm to steer the boat. However, if you are inclined to just sit back and enjoy the ride, that’s fine too.

This is a three hour cruise.
